Molinos de viento de Abalo
These windmills were built in the late 19th century on the hilltop of Abalo. They are very significant due to their rarity in Galicia and unique in Europe because of their double sails. Additionally, they offer spectacular views of the ría (‘estuary’) of Arousa and the mouth of the Ulla River, as well as the lagoon of Pedras Miúdas (‘Little Boulders’).
