Capilla de los Milagros de Amil
In the last quarter of the 18th century, a farmer and mule driver called Sebastián de Castro was having difficulty providing water for his family and animals. He asked the Virgin for help finding a spring and his wish came true. He had a statue of the Virgin made in 1780 and from then on many pilgrims visited her, so this Neoclassical chapel was built in 1892. The impressive stairway was added in the 20th century.
