This accessible pedestrian route, which can be partially ridden by bikes, starts at street Avenida de Madrid and runs alongside the Lagares River for more than 8.1 km until it reaches the mouth of the river, where it splits into two sections. They lead to two sandy areas: Adro to the east and Canido to the west.
It is an ornithological route where the typical birds of the area can be seen. Additionally, the trail passes through a gallery forest of trees like alders and willows, which is essential to prevent river bank erosion and preserve the flora and fauna of the area.

Starting point and destination It starts at the street Avenida de Madrid and ends at the beach of Canido or of Adro. Description of the route The lower section of the river passes through the wet areas of Goberna, Muíños and Xunqueira do Lagares, which regulate the flow of water and have great biological diversity. It also has ethnographic wealth resulting from the interaction of the local population with the river. This is represented by the small bridge of Sárdoma, the medieval bridge of Balaídos, the bridge and tidal mill of Molinos and the marshes of Xunqueira do Lagares.
