Bosque encantado de Aldán
San CibránAldán (San Cibrán)CangasPontevedra
This recreational area belonged to the Counts of Canalejas and the grounds of the tower house of Aldán up to the early 20th century. Hidden by footpaths and a forest of native trees (with other species introduced by the counts) is the facade of a small castle, Frendoal, which was never completed. There is also a moat, a drawbridge and an aqueduct, known as the Arch of the Countess. The entire area has a magical, fairy-tale feel about it.
