It is a horseshoe arch, typical of the Visigoth art, and it’s formed by voussoirs placed in radial form, except the last ones, placed horizontally, providing sturdiness and stability to the arch. It is supported by a couple of columns with a smooth shaft and capitals decorated with a double leaf crown and a series of geometrical elements. Its gives access to a square-shaped chancel, a common characteristic of the Pre-Romanesque architecture.
