The chapel is part of the pazo da Saleta. It has a rectangular floor plan. Its stonework and the inscription on the façade indicating the year it was built stand out. Inside, an altarpiece from 1870 stands out. It houses Our Lady of La Salette, made in Manuel Magasiñas’ workshop in Santiago de Compostela. It also has an ex voto ship with the inscription “Nuestra Señora de la Barca”. On the barrel vault, there is a polychromatic coat of arms with the symbols of the promoters of the church. Nevertheless, the most remarkable decorative element is the coat of arms located under the bell tower, which represents the four families that promoted the construction: Pérez, Cardecid, Aballe and Losada.   In the property, the botanic set formed by the gardens of A Saleta stands out. It is composed by curious crops, a lot of them experimental ones, cultivated by the Gimsons.   The visit to the chapel is included in the visit to the pazo’s gardens, part of the Route of the Camellia.
