This tradition dates far back. During the festivities, the people of the parishes of Santa Cristina de Cobres and San Adrián de Cobres take over the streets wearing beautiful handcrafted costumes in a feast of music and dance. Known as ‘Las madamas’, they put on an unforgettable show.
