A Renaissance Tower and Pazo ensemble. A beautiful building overlooking the gorgeous countryside of the Tebra Valley The former building was built on the site of Outeiro at the behest of Pedro Madruga in 1478. Ten years later it was demolished on the instructions of the Catholic Monarchs. It was to be Álvaro Suárez de Deza, through authorisation from Queen Juana I of Castile (Juana the Mad) who rebuilt the tower and the other rooms in 1532. The square tower with four turrets is worthy of mention. Today, the graceful and beautiful tower rises up amongst other buildings that comprise a private residence.
