The weather in this area

This dance is performed every 20 January on the feast of Saint Sebastian. It takes place in the atrium of the church of San Cibrán in Aldán, although sometimes it is repeated in other parts of the parish. Its origin has been linked to paganism, but like many other traditions, it was Christianised and became an expression of gratitude or happiness. It is performed by men and women with striking costumes and adornments.
