Located on the Northern mountainside of the Monte Xiabre. The chapel has one nave, the chancel is not differentiated on the floor plan and it has two rooms attached to it. The building is made integrally of ashlars and you can see the multiple refurbishments and add-ons, so it’s not easy to place exactly when it was originally built. Nevertheless, under a window there is an inscription that seemingly reads 1671. Its current form seems to recall in general a typical Baroque building. It’s a type of traditional sanctuary relatively frequent in Galicia: a hermitage located in an isolated place, far from the historical villages.
