This food festival has a long historical tradition in the fishing town of Carril. It has been held since 1992 in the town’s port, one of the oldest of the region of Arousa. During the festivities visitors are offered tastings of the local clam, grown in the sand, accompanied by Albariño wine. The event was declared a Festival of Tourist Interest in 2014.
