The main construction is a chapel dedicated to San Bartholomew and Saint Anthony that dates back to 1771. It remained like that until the image of the Virgin of Piety was found. That caused the name change of this church, rebuilt in 1812. It has a Greek cross floor plant. It is formed by a main nave and two apses. The nave has a shell cover, while the apses and the chancel are covered by a semicircular barrel vault. The entrance of the raised chancel is presided by a triumphal arch supported by quadrangular half-columns.
