This church, which is devoted to Santa Baia, was built before the year 1000. It was listed as a donation to Don Pelaio de Lugo in 998 under the name of Exilieta, and it was included in the testament of Teresa Sánchez de Gres, in 1395, under the same name.
This Latin-cross-plan church was reconstructed in 1751. Its main nave doubles the apses in size, and its façade has a clock with two small rose windows at both sides, as well as an image of San Salvador holding fishing gear in his right hand.
