The Xunqueiras church was built following different styles, but the one that stands out the most is the so-called Galician rural. It is a church with a basilical floor plan with a nave on the left side. On the main façade, an image of San Salvador (patron saint of the parish) stands out. The bell tower was modified a few years back because it had been knocked down by bad weather. Nevertheless, the most remarkable part of the church is the attached cemetery. The large mausoleums and the spectacularity of the stonework stand out. Two masonry masters of the Aguasantas quarry are buried there.
