The Santa María de Pazos Church is located near the Borbén river. The temple is part of an ensemble formed by a rectory house, the church and a cemetery. The structure of the building follows the rural Romanesque style, although it has been modified several times ever since (17th/18th centuries). It has a basilical floor plan and an apse with a barrel vault. On the main façade there is a linteled door, a triangular pediment and a bell tower. There is a built-in Romanesque tympanum at the foot of the nave. Inside there are two granite baptismal fonts at the foot of the naves, one of them possibly from the Middle Ages and the other modern.
