This viewpoint is located in Alto de Montouto, on the hills of Fontefría, at a height of 945 metres.
Standing on a rock, there are three stone crosses that remind of a calvary and demarcate the boundary between the towns of Covelo and A Cañiza. There is also a watchtower and, a few metres from there, a triangulation station.
This viewpoint offers views of the regions of Paradanta and O Condado, the mountain ranges of O Galiñeiro and A Groba, and the Atlantic Ocean on the west.
