This is the highest point of A Illa de Arousa (63 m), from where you have a panoramic view of the entire island, the bridge and the neighbouring towns of Vilagarcía, Vilanova, Cambados, Meaño, Sanxenxo and O Grove. It is crowned with a Statue of the Heart of Jesus the Saint, erected in 1962, and which was carved from stone mined from the quarries of Noia and sculpted by the Master Mateo. It took nearly a year to create, and because of its size had to be built in five pieces: from the waist down, the back, the head and the two arms separately.
