A Guía hill is located in the parish of Teis in Vigo. It offers spectacular views over the city and the estuary, with the Cíes Islands in the background.
Fishermen’s wives used to go up this hill in the past to make fires and guide their husbands back to shore. There is a small church dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows at the peak, which was built on top of an ancient castro (hillfort settlement).
