Weather information is temporarily unavailable.

This is an extraordinary hill of almost 631 metres high, 746 hectares and great landscape beauty. It was declared a natural park in 1978, making it the first one of Galicia, and classified as a Special Protection Area of Natural Values. It comprises natural, ethnographic and archaeological elements, such as a walled enclosure from the Gallaecian-Roman period and a small church dedicated to Saint Julian, which was rebuilt in 1713 on a Romanesque temple. Casa Forestal, noteworthy due to its unique design, is the natural interpretation centre of the area. There are different hiking trails and natural lookouts too. This natural space was used throughout history to protect and defend the area against invasion, particularly during the Middle Ages.
