This construction is one of the more emblematic fortress-pazos of the town and shows the splendour of one of the most powerful noble families of the region, the Romays. The pazo is composed by a medieval battlemented tower built in the 15th century and an attached body from the 18th century, where the rooms of the house and the Santa Bárbara chapel are located.
