According to Father Crespo Pozo, the original house of the Araújo family was located on the Portuguese bank of the Miño river, in the Monção area, from where they spread throughout Galicia. This pazo consists of a mansion of rectangular shape and solid aspect, surrounded by an estate of small dimensions with fruit trees and a vineyard. Its rank is given by the coat of arms that presides over the main facade
