This route, which takes you to mills, runs for 5.5 km along the southern side of Monte Castrove in the parish of Samieira. The route runs along the River Freixía, where there are a total of 23 mills in various states of repair, of which two are still working - the Suárez muíño and the Cubo de Abaixo muíño. This route is also a good way of getting to know Galician domestic architecture, with the many hórreos (raised granaries), cruceiros (stone crosses), springs and wayside shrines
