The medieval Amil Tower could have been a defensive tower, although there is no data left to support this hypothesis. Taking into account the place names of the area, it is believed that it was part of a defensive ensemble with at least another tower close by, but there are no remains left of it. The rectory house of Amil stands out because of the medieval tower attached to it, built to make the most of the stone used
