The current building seems to be the restoration of an older temple. Its simple façade has a portal with a semicircular arch and, on the gable roof, a decorated bell-gable. On it, there is a date likely to be when the current chapel was built, the year 1883. On a rock, there is also an inscription that seems to point to the year 1880. Nevertheless, the ashlars of the walls are quite rough and seem to indicate it being older. Two magnificent pine trees stand out in the church’s atrium. They may have the same age as the chapel, that is, more than 130 years.
In honour of the saint, the feast day is celebrated on August 16th.
