This old medieval bridge was the crossing point over the river on the road that went from Pontevedra to Terra de Montes. It is a place with great cultural and environmental importance, as it is part of the Red Natura Río Lérez. At the same time, it is part of a highly valued patrimonial set along with the paved road, a calvary and a wayside shrine.
