Cernadela Bridge spans the River Tea very close to Mondariz, more specifically in a place known as O Ceo. Its origins hark back 2000 years, during the dominance of the Roman Empire. The bridge suffered modifications over time, specifically in the 15th, 17th and 18th centuries. The five arches that remain are of orgival style, except the middle one, which retains the half pointed arch. The total length of the bridge is 70 m. As with many of the bridges over the River Tea, it is surrounded by legends and rituals
