The church of Santa Cristina of Valeixe is of Romanesque style and was built in 1573. The main chapel dates from the 16th century and has a rib vault typical of that period. The rest of the church, the nave and the lateral chapels, were done in a subsequent reformation carried out in the first years of the 18th century, forming as a whole a Baroque work in the main body with the addition of the Renaissance main chapel. Inside, we must highlight the Baroque altarpieces done in separate times during the 18th century.
