It has a single nave floor-plan, with a semi-circular apse, 20 m long by 7 m wide Inside the church there are five windows in the nave, two on the north wall, two on the south wall and one on the west wall. The apse is illuminated thanks to three openings arranged symmetrically on the semi-circular part. There are two doors, one on each panel of the nave, with four and six columns, respectively. The semi-circular part is covered by a quarter sphere dome. There are plenty of rosettes and other geometric motifs, typically Romanesque. It once belonged to the Order of Malta
