The Alfageme cannery is one of the best representations of the industrial architecture of the city. It is located in the Bouzas neighbourhood and it was designed by the Vigo-born architect Manuel Gómez Román in 1928. The initial project was slightly modified due to the company’s new needs. The most remarkable elements of the building are its two granite facades (one facing the Tomás Alonso street and the other facing the sea).
