This is a 16th century historical site comprising the Pazo, a raised granary, threshing area, mill, garden and a large part of land given over to wine production, a pine grove and woodland with indigenous trees. It has a rectangular floor-plan, an interior courtyard and on one side there is a tower with pinnacles, featuring a sentry box on corbels on one side. The lintelled doorway is framed by a flat mould, and on the cornice there is a crest that has the coat of arms of the Costas y Sarmiento family, the former owner. The entrance leads onto the courtyard, where there is an impressive stone table, around which the main building and other annex rooms are arranged. We have little historic details about this Pazo, as its archives were stolen. What we do know is that the Grand Captain Gonzalo Fernández of Córdoba and Maximilian of Austria, Emperor of Mexico, stayed here. The Pazo also operates as a rural property and has five double rooms (two of which are special rooms) with heating, bathrooms, telephone, TV and minibar
