Museo Verbum - A casa das palabras
VERBUM was designed by Galician architect César Portela and is situated near the beach of Samil. It is an interactive museum about human communication, designed as a cultural, fun, informational space, where visitors are meant to engage with the exhibited objects.
Divided into four floors connected by a glass box, this is a recreational space that allows visitors to experiment and learn about everything related to languages, words, letters, sounds, signs, symbols, sight, hearing, reading, writing, literature and technology through games. The exhibition is organised into 29 cubes containing a total of 81 modules expanding on the different themes of the museum: language, science, literature and technology.
