It is a granite monument made by the sculptor Camilo Nogueira. It is formed by a pedestal on a plinth. Above it, there is a group of sculptures representing a father, a mother and a son hugging in an emotional reunion scene. There are also two rectangular stone sides with bas-reliefs that represent the farewells and returns. On the pedestal you can read "Friend that goes around the world searching for a distant star, look back, come back home where the warmth of your dear ones awaits you. Hermandad Gallega de Venezuela"
