Legend has it that there were mouros settled in these lands a long time ago. Centuries later, there was a fortress with a keep, the medieval castle of Santa Helena, which disappeared in the 15th century, due to the Irmandiña Revolts.
This place has always kept great stories, and today it offers some wonderful views of Val Miñor.
