Only the foundation and part of the exterior walls of Ubeiras Castle are conserved as a result of the destruction suffered at the hands of the Anglo-Dutch army in the Battle of Rande in 1702.
It has a medieval origin, as its construction dates from the 14th and 15th centuries.
