This is a carballeira that protects a chapel. The day of As Dores is celebrated here (on the last weekend in June) and the Virxe de Guadalupe is also venerated here by a large number of Mexican emigrants (at midnight on the 11th of August they chant the "Mañanitas", and there is a big festival the next day)
