Aldariz, the village where the route is located, and its houses make up a uniquely beautiful natural ensemble. There are crystal-clear springs, a small stream all along the itinerary, as well as oaks, laurels, chestnuts and hollies among other trees that let visitors enjoy the area’s native natural richness. All these elements make up a wonderful natural ensemble.
One of the most important megalithic ensembles in Sanxenxo is located at the peak of the route: Chan da Gorita, with several tombs and barrows. The dense vegetation makes it hard to locate them at first sight, but they can be distinguished with a little patience and intuition.
At the peak, there are wonderful views of the sea in the route’s middle section of the Ría de Pontevedra.
