This church is located in the historic centre of Marín and was previously known as Our Lady of Oseira. It was built on bedrock in the 17th century because of the Convent of Oseira and had several restorations before finally having a Baroque appearance in 1739. It began to be rebuilt in 1603 and became a parish church in 1661. The current high chapel was added in 1703 and the Baroque style was incorporated in 1739 with the bell tower.
The interior is rib-vaulted and has six altarpieces in the 18th-century Baroque and 19th-century Neoclassical styles. The most noteworthy ones are the three of the crossing. Outside, a flight of steps provides access to the building, which has a facade with the typical pediment and lintelled door from the 18th century. The shield of Oseira is displayed at the front and back of the church.
