Church with only one nave and a quadrangular apse, that gives the impression it was built later on or at least reformed. This Romanesque church is externally very far from the splendid artwork we find inside. It preserves Romanesque remains in the front part with a semicircular window with a double archivolt, as well as some interesting brackets on the South wall. The interior of this church is worth a visit, especially the chancel. About its beautiful internal set (12th century), we must highlight the iconography on the capitals that offers an impressive sample of the medieval art, almost unique in Galicia, alluding to the cardinal sins, men’s passions and their battle against them: centaurs, harpies, sirens, shackles, lion and wolf heads, predatory birds, snakes and other fantastic animals form a thematic set considered an exception of the Galician Romanesque style by the experts.
