This museum is housed in a small building in the neighbourhood of Fefiñáns, which was restored in 1990 in order to collect the literary heritage of Ramón Cabanillas. The poet was born and spent his childhood in Cambados, and after studying at the Seminary of San Martín Pinario de Santiago he returned, started a family and worked as an accounting officer. A few years later, he began his journalistic endeavours and emigrated to Cuba. There he wrote his first collection, which he dedicated to his native Cambados.
In this house we can find the environment, influences, evidence, objects and a wide range of small hints about the most important Galician poet of the As irmandades da fala organisation and former member of the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language.
