Pazo de Eidián is a 16th-century traditional manor house that was partially modified for defensive purposes during the First Carlist War. It was the ancestral home of the López de Basadre family, whose coat of arms is above the main entrance. It was built on a former Templar property, and the town chapel from that time still stands today. The recent restoration has tried to combine the old elements with well-preserved antique furniture. The stunning surroundings are an excellent setting for this kind of Galician architecture. Today this pazo houses a rural tourism establishment.
