Roman bridge, although some say that it could have been built later, in the medieval period. Its current condition is due to several renovations, one of them recent. It is a small bridge but its construction is careful and sturdy with granite ashlar blocks and a horizontal panel with five lintels and no slope. It sits on top of thick semicircular pillars with conical finishes that act as cutwaters to ease the flow of the water around the bridge. It also has stone parapets. It crosses the Valga River and is part of the Santiago-Tui part of the Portuguese Way and of the Cuntis-Valga PGR-22 Panoramic Trail.
