The O Porriño Town Hall, of a regionalist style, is one of the most recognised works within the Galician sphere, built by the architect from O Porriño, Antonio Palacios. The building is the village’s representative and landmark building, constructed with a great monumental sense given the reduced surface area available. It is a piece of work that is laden with great symbolism, decorated in granite, using a mediaeval language, with a Gothic and Romanesque repertoire and also a virtuosity that lends the building a baroque air
