A food festival in praise of the lamprey from the River Ulla. Held at the end of March and beginning of April, at the same time as the Sunday pilgrimage of San Lázaro. The festival takes place in the tent set up on the port esplanade, alongside the jetties of the River Ulla, as well as in central bars and restaurants The lamprey is traditionally prepared with a Bordeaux-style sauce and accompanied with rice and pieces of fried bread; it is also served coated
