Every first Sunday in October the pilgrimage of San Breixo takes place. Legend has it that he was one of the first inhabitants of the Municipality of Barro. The church is located on the top of a hillside with a large esplanade, very appropriate for the crowded pilgrimage. San Breixo is the saint for rheumatism and the water of his fountain is very good for joint and head aches. A large number of devotees come to give their offerings and to keep made promises to the saint.
