The Espicho and the Alto do Faro are two hillocks in the town of Salceda de Caselas which rise up 235 and 209 m above sea level, respectively. They are very close to the possible site of Toroña Castle, in Entenza. The mound was about to disappear as a consequence of the two granite quarries that surround the mountain. However, timely action in 2007 saved the Espicho from disappearance, and there are still striking views to be had from here. In 2007 the Espicho was recreated as a rest and recreation park, with different tree species, ponds, fountains and places to eat. And in-depth cleaning exercise left the place in excellent conditions for spending a wonderful day out
