A rest and recreation area located on the slope of the Pena de Francia mountain. Here there is an extensive carballeira with places to eat, fountains, etc., and a chapel in honour of the Virxe de Pena of France in the vicinity. This place gets its name from a battle in which, according to tradition, the French were defeated by the Galicians
