This natural site consists of six islands that were created by a reservoir storing water from the Ulla River when it flows through Gres. Five of them are connected via walkways, bridges or stone paths: San Ramón, Os Namorados, A Palleta, Pachín and A Praia. The seven-arched medieval bridge of Ponte Ledesma is nearby, which adds to the beauty of the area.
