It was built to house the commercial home Viuda e Hijos de Simeón García, between 1907 and 1911, as well as several other homes on the upper floors with entrances on the side facades.   The building was designed by Manuel Gómez Román. It has a ground floor dedicated to commerce and three more floors, the last one with a mansard roof.   The building has a luxurious and monumental character with an excellent granite stonework. The main facade has a French-influenced eclectic composition with a central body finished with a dome.   The granite decoration has a modernist air with a wide range of flora and fauna representations. The decorative elements are mainly located over the lintels or on the keystones, corbels, pilasters, balconies, etc. It is also important to highlight the figure of a woman's face that appears framed in vegetal decoration in the keystone of the inferior central opening, the doves and vegetal forms in the pilasters and the monstrous gargoyles.   Finally, it is also worth mentioning the use of iron with curved shapes, especially on the balconies that remind us of the Art Nouveau style
