This route, together with the Regato de San Cibrán route, is part of the Catoira River Natural Trail, one of the few included by the Ministry of Environment in the Natural Trails programme.
The trail follows the course of these two streams along 11 kilometres, from the upper part, near the chapel of San Cibrán, to the Ulla river, in front of As Telleiras islet, going through the parishes of Dimo and Catoira. From this point, one can arrive to the Torres del Oeste (‘West Towers’) crossing the riverside walk.
