Know more about
Vilanova de Arousa

Casa de Cantillo, also known as the House of the Three Balconies, is closely associated with Ramón María del Valle-Inclán and his family's life in Vilanova de Arousa.

It was the residence of his parents, Ramón del Valle Bermúdez and Dolores Peña, and the home of the Valle Peña family during much of the writer's childhood and youth. Located in the centre of Vilanova de Arousa, the two-storey building is distinguished by the three balconies on its façade, from which its popular name derives.

Together with the nearby Casa do Cuadrante —now the Valle-Inclán House Museum—, Casa de Cantillo is one of the main places associated with the writer's life and legacy in Vilanova de Arousa.

Both buildings are part of the urban route dedicated to Valle-Inclán, which takes visitors through different locations in the town connected with his life and work.
